ETHO is a service specialized in clinic Ethology with small animals and canine education. We think about the wellbeing, the understanding between species, bonding, respect, knowledge, commitment and continuous learning, medicine, education, communication, coherence and nature.

What’s clinic Ethology?

Clinic Ethology is the veterinarian specialty that deals with diagnose, prevention and treatment of behavioral problems in pets.

Behavior problems (inappropriate urination, aggression, destructiveness, excessive barking, and compulsive conducts) may have a medical or a mere behavioral cause, identifying all possible causes is essential for diagnosis and proper treatment.

What services do we offer?

Assessment consultations (arrival of a baby at home, changes of address, travel, newly adopted dog, arrival of a new puppy, etc.)

Assessment consultations for behavioral problems and the discard of associated medical problems (separation anxiety, reactivity towards members of the family, excessive barking, destructiveness at home, reactivity towards dogs, fears, lack of control, etc.)
Puppy socialization
Plans of environmental enrichment
Behavior modification
Preventive behavior medicine
Obedience and behavior management, based on positive education
Courses, workshops and seminars with professionals in the canine and feline area.

Where do the activities take place?

The first consultations tend to be at home to observe the atmosphere and character of the animal. According to the particularities of the case, review and education sessions can be at home or in MDLF´s facilities. Courses and workshops will take place on the premises of MDLF, a privileged setting where to enjoy and learn with your “best friend”.

Equine Therapy

It is a complementary therapy that uses horse as a mediator to improve the quality of life of people with physical, mental or sensory disability, mental health problems and problems of social adaptation.


  • Physical: improves balance, mobility and posture.
  • Psychic and emotional: increases self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • Cognitive and educational: improves attention and concentration.
  • Communication: increases vocabulary.
